Disclosure Policy

Yep, I'll be blogging for money around here. Nope, I'm not ashamed of it. And no, I won't do it all the time.

But I guarantee that you'll know when I get paid for writing a post. That's what disclosure is all about. Thus, any time I'm getting paid to write a post, I'll put "Sponsored Post" at the top. You'll quickly know that it's a paid post.

Also, I guarantee that I will NEVER write a post that is required to be positive. I will only provide my honest opinion on products/services. If I can't tell it to you straight, I won't accept the sponsorship. That's what I'm guaranteeing.

A Great Espresso Machine from Delonghi

The other day I wrote about the Illy coffee that I love. Now it's time to feature the machine that makes my espresso: the DeLonghi EC140B.

This little machine makes one mean cup of espresso, and it only costs around $75. It an make a nice amount of steam for heating & frothing milk. The espresso has great crema.

Importantly, the machine is also easy to maintain. I fill it up with water every few days. After making espresso, I simply rinse off the pieces and let them dry. Every few days I wipe the whole machine with a Clorox wipe. I doesn't get easier than that.

The reviews for this machine are generally pretty positive, which is why I decided to go with this model. Most of the owners seem very happy with this machine, and they have generally good experiences.

If you're looking for a reasonably priced home espresso machine, this might be it.

Illy Beats Starbucks Hands Down

I've become quite a coffee connoisseur. I used to think that Starbucks made great coffee. But since I was given a can of Illy coffee, my tastes have changed.

If you haven't tried Illy, you should. The coffee is much richer and more flavorful than anything I've ever tried. Personally, I love the medium roast, fine grind, which you can buy here.

It's not cheap, but it's not ridiculously expensive. In the end, it's much cheaper to buy great coffee and make it at home than to get a daily cup at Starbucks.
