With all the socially oriented sites out there, you'd think the market would be flooded. I guess not.
There's a new site now that allows Artists Set Up a Portfolio of Your Work. It's called The Whole 9, and it's based on the idea that existing sites are too impersonal and not inter-connected enough.
The Whole 9 is divided into three areas that all mingle together: people, profiles, and places. This lets members get to know each other, highlight their portfolios & experience, and share recommendations for bars & restaurants.
While this site might not take off for the mainstream internet user, it's aimed toward a more selective demographic in the first place. It's got a neat design, and I'll bet a lot of people will like it. Go check it out!
